In a Cairo working-class neighborhood, 30-year-old Hassan finds himself facing eviction along with his small family: his mother and his dog, Rambo. His mother refuses to accept this and decides to file a lawsuit, which infuriates Karem, the landowner, and leads him to teach Hassan a lesson. It is then that Rambo, his loyal companion, comes to his defense by attacking Karem in front of the neighborhood’s residents.
Karem vows to restore his dignity, prompting Hassan to embark on a daunting journey through the megalopolis to find a haven for Rambo. Along the way, Hassan rediscovers himself and confronts his deepest fear.
