Submit your 5–15 minute short film exploring diasporic stories, experiences, identities, or perspectives by September 15, 2026.

🏆 Awards:

Best Student Film — CAD $2,000 in film equipment rental credit

Best Student Director — CAD $2,000 in film equipment rental credit

Best Student Cinematography — CAD $2,000 in film equipment rental credit

Winners will also receive a 50% discount on equipment rental, in addition to the above prizes.

Official selections will have the opportunity to be presented as part of the Diaspora Film Festival.
