Mehran Tamadon returns to the Diaspora Film Festival with this highly acclaimed shocking documentary where he switches the places of the interrogator and prisoner in a mocked notorious Evin prison of his homeland Iran.

In this documentary, the director asks ex political prisoners to play agents of the Islamic Republic of Iran notorious secret police and interrogate him as a prisoner. He would like the real torturer in Iran to see himself through the film as if in a mirror. The violent experience of putting themselves in the torturer’s head confronts the ex-prisoners with their own limits and the ambivalence of the project itself.
